Our “Have a Go” lessons let you have a taste of what Clay target shooting is all about. You will receive expert instruction, all the necessary equipment, cartridges and clays. You will have around 25 shots. We only use targets suitable for your level of expertise, so you will come away from the session with a sense of achievement. Clay Shooting lessons.(Novice)

These lessons last approximately one hour each and concentrate on safety, techniques for hitting various targets, the law and general etiquette.

We supply all equipment necessary.

We start, well at the beginning, with an introduction to shotgun safety. This is of paramount importance and is reinforced throughout all further lessons.

We follow this with a check of your master eye, the proper stance (style) and then we choose and fit a gun suitable for your build and the type of shooting you are going to do.

From then on we will actually get shooting, which is what you came for!

Throughout the lesson you will be given guidance and instruction. As you progress we will tailor your instruction to suit you.

If you wish to book a course of lessons we will first give you a discount, and then work out a structured lesson plan, so we know and you know, how well you are progressing.

Lessons for the more experienced shot.

After a general assessment of your shooting, style, gun and general safety knowledge we will construct a lesson plan to help you hit more targets. Help you to hit different targets, more frequently and improve your shooting generally.

For game shooters new to the field or just requiring a few more in the bag we can offer either tuition on simulated game birds or have an instructor accompany you on your shoot day. Contact us for prices and availability
